• Using reverse engineering, I took apart a laptop because I wanted to learn how to build computer and if I know how to take them apart I can build them and repair.

• During this process, I learned how to take apart a laptop.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I can achieve goals by taking apart the laptop because that was my goal. 

• A challenge I overcame on this project was identifying parts. Asking Mr. Renner

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the speed of doing it. The reason why I would change it is because I rushed myself.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in engineering.
