Boat

• Using _tinker cad I created my 3D boat that me and Tate,alexya and travis we all made a 3D type of boat
• because_we had to make a design of a 3D_boat that wouldn't sink when we put pennies in it with a tub of water. and my boat canoe made out of tinfoil held about 367 pennies but i had some other people build the walls because i couldn't make the walls right and it kept ripping while i was making the walls so i had Tate do it cause he was better at the wall part
• During this process, I learned that when we had to construct the boat we had to make a lot of adjustments to make it not sink in the tub of water with like 300 pennies in the boat and i got 367 pennies before it sank in the whole tub of water and it sank by the weight of the pennies going downs so it pushed the sides into the middle of the boat and it sank to the bottom of the tub with the pennies in still in the middle of the boat.
• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to being a global collaborator._ because i worked with other people and had them tell me what was there opinion about the stuff that i should put on my boat and had it better constructed when people told me how to make my boat more advanced in the making.
• A challenge I overcame on this project was to make the 3D print have the tall walls when it was printed and it didn't print the way we wanted it to. I was able to do it with the help of Tate because he was able to figure out the wall width in like 3 minutes .
• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way the boat structure was made like the bottom i would make it a thicker bottom of the boat and the sides with a longer length if i could_. The reason why I would change it is because i think if i could get my boat better if i had another chance to do that.
