"Video Project"

Video: 

• Using a iMovie, iPad, Creative Commons Images and music, I created a video about my interest in and favorite things because I felt like these things define me as a person.

• During this process, I learned how to use a iPad and how to import and export files from one device to another. And how to download photos with a Creative Commons license.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I set a goal and understood what it took to make that goal happen and followed it. And i understood what tools i needed to achieve the goal.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was having to ask someone if I could use there picture and use in the video. I was able to do this be seeing them in person and ask them if I could use there pictures and uploading it to the video.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the format in which i did the photos and would have made better transitions from each photo. The reason why I would change it is because it feel i could have a bit better on them.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in video editing, I say this becuase most of the stuff  I did to make this video was based around the editing and chooseing sound efects, and the fact that the whole point was to get skilled with editing.
