Using ipad, cardboard, hotglue, tape I created a pencil holder because i need to have an easy way to get pencils.
During this process, I learned make sure you dont match the size of your hole with your invention.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I had to choose my project.
A challenge I overcame on this project was making it fir ion my locker. I was able to do it by rem,oving a side support.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how big i made it . The reason why I would change it is because it was a very tihgt fit to make it in the top.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in desgin and prototype because I used carboared to make a replicu of something to see if it would work.
