7P3-Micro bit

Using a iPad, computer, and the Micro bit, I created a dice roller, a flashing heart, a countdown, and my name because these are things I thought be would be fun to make. My favorite thing to make was the dice roller.

During this process, I watched a video to help me with my coding and programming. 

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Empowered Learner because I coded a micro bit. My project also ties to Digital Citizen because I had had to look up how to make some of the things I made without copy righting. 

A challenge I overcame on this project was making my code for a dice roller. I was able to do it by watching some videos and trying multiple different codes. In the end I finally got it to work. 

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how I started coding my dice roller. The reason why I would change it is because I kept delating it and trying again and again.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School. My project ties to Computer Programming CTE program at Hastings High School because I programmed and coded a Micro Bit.  

My project connects to careers in computer programming because I coded and programmed a micro bit using a computer.
