• Using a sphero mini an computer and ipad with the sphero EDU app  I created a program that makes the robot move in different shapes like square, triangle and an arrow I only have a few because ive been  sick because me and my partnerer had all the sides and angles were simple to code.

• During this process, I learned That regular shapes like squares and triangles are much easier than iregular shapes like stars and arrows. I also learned thet circels are very hard because the robot needs to move consystently. Another thing i learned was that friction make a big difference like the  carpet makes the robot only move somtimes and the table makes it slippery.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empoweered learner because i used trial and error to fix my mistakes. It also ties to global colaborator because all my work from the project is on my website for anyone to see..

• A challenge I overcame on this prject was My sphero sometimes didnt move at all.  I was able to do it by movcing the robot on to the floor. Another challange i overcame was people connecting to my robot i overcame this problem by asking for myv robot back and for them to disconnect.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change is the amout of harder shapes i created . The reason why I would change it is because All my shpes are very simple and i didnt have a hole lot of time to do themn because i was sick.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the computer programming CTE program at Hastings High School.  

• My project connects to careers in robot programmer  because it works with making robots do things like move and I can do that it also pays well.
