Using cardboard, I created a checkers game because the idea sounded fun.
During this process, I learned how to make some things out of cardboard and get ideas.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative Designer because I was creating something.
A challenge I overcame on this project was what colors to use for the checker board. I was able to do it by choosing a basketball like theme and using those colors.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the idea for the project. The reason why I would change it is because I could create something larger and something that takes a longer time to work on.
