I 3d printed a castle
i overcame a challenge by using more parts and making a bigger object and it took more time to create.
Using 3d printer, I created a castle because it was more difficult to make than a hammer.
During this process, I learned that using more parts make the project harder.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovation designer because 3d printing takes computer programming.
A challenge I overcame on this project was connecting the parts together. I was able to do it by locking each part in place .
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the amount of shapes I used. The reason why I would change it is because the project would get more points and it would look better.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in 3d modeling.
next time i will use more layers and shapes to give me more points and more credit. Its better than the last project because it is bigger and it took more time to build because it has more shapes and is much better than a hammer.
if i could do anything differently next time i would add more objects and add scale to it so it is bigger and looks better than it does now because right now it is only about as big as my hand but if i add scale it would be a lot bigger.
