we are making a boxing ring

to be unlike the others because we are the only people making a boxing ring

Daily Log:

Every day that you work on your project you need to tell me what you did and most days have at least one picture. Example: “Day One - worked on my list of 10 Good Ideas while Googling about …”

Day 1

we found our groups and started making ideas

Day 2

we started acually making our boxing ring

Day 3

We made even more progress and are getting close to being done.

Day 4

we started making bodies for the ring and the legs

Day 5

we started finished the bodys

Day 6

We made the ropes for the sides of the ring and glued the bodys upright

Using Cardboard, Duct tape, Hot glue and marker, I created A boxing ring with people and the ropes on the sides so it was detailed because it felt unique and we didn't see anyone lese do it while it was easy but super cool.
During this process, I learned How to improvise when we didn't know how to make the ropes or the bodies and how to improved when it seemed like that was our best.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovative designer because i found the design process i was using which was just going back in fourth with the glue gun.
A challenge I overcame on this project was finding the right spots for the cardboard when we had no clue what to do. I was able to do it by getting help from hunter and Taco and testing it before i glued it.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how big we made one of the guys because we just made the head big and kept with it. The reason why I would change it is because It just didn't look right and it would've made our thing look way cooler.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the engineering Design CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in Hardware design Engineers because They make stuff just like it and its the most simular job to what we did.
