Using an iPad and a green screen, I created a video of all the bloopers we took of our interviews. During this process I learned how to use the green screen, how to edit, and how to background audio. The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Creative Communicator because as a team we made something that people can watch and listen to. A challenge I overcame on this project was how to use iMovie to edit. I was able to do it by messing around with the app for a while learning how to work all the tools. Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way the video was laid out. The reason why I would change it is because it is not as entertaining as I would personally like it to be, but with the skills I have now I could make it better. Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in becoming a collaborator.
