Using Makey Makey, I created a gaming dpad because it would likely be easy to make and we can use it to play games.
During this process, I learned how to make a video game dpad out of playdough and a makey makey.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to empowered learner because I created a dpad from scratch.
A challenge I overcame on this project was figuring out how to get the makey makey to work. I was able to do it by testing what objects create an electric currant.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change the way I positioned the buttons. The reason why I would change it is because the cords began to tangle with each other.
