7p5 3D design

Using tinker cad , I created a screwdriver because they can help with many problems. Because  you can build many things using a screwdriver. some things you can build are desks and chairs and counters.

During this process, I learned how to use Tinkercad to design a 3D printing file. Also how to use a 3D printer to create things that are tougher to create out of wood ar meteal.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to  globle collaborator and innovative desigher because I posted it on the internet and worked on something i never have  .

A challenge I overcame on this project was making drill bits to use for the screwdriver. I was able to do it by taking measurements. By copying the drill bit slot that I used to make an indent in the 3d printed file.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change what I made. Due to the fact that it took a very long time just to make the bace of the screw driver. and some of the shapes. another resion why I would change it is because my pivot did not work.

My project connects to careers in 3D Printing Designer.  because they create several layouts to use for projects. the yearly salary for this job is $111,710 this is a lot more than the average yearly American salary witch is about 68,000 dollars a year.
