Virtual reality  project log

Using Delightex Edu, I created a forest with animals that tell internet safety tips because i love animals and the forest is a very beautiful place.

During this process, I learned how to make animals move, and how to code their movements.

The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Digital Citizen because I added digital tips to teach others be safe online.

A challenge I overcame on this project was not knowing how to get the animals to move. I was able to do it by testing with the different options of the animals.

Given a chance to do this again, I would change how the animals can move around. The reason why I would change it is because all of their movements are stationary instead of free roam.

Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the Digital multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.  

My project connects to careers in Engineering Design because i made a project that took time and ended up a functional, and it also took research to find internet safety tips and implemented it in the project.
