Using Cardboard, I created a basketball hoop because me and my crew discussed that we want to build a basketball hoop.

• During this process, I learned that it is hard to build a basketball rim and get along 24/7.

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to Innovation and design, creative communicator because we talked in a group.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was listening to people's ideas. I was able to do it by realizing that my team was good at what they where doing.

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change the rim and backboard design . The reason why I would change it is because it could brake and the backboard needs to be bigger.

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the basketball CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in basketball.
