Using Robots, I created codes for robots because I needed to learn how to code robots.
During this process, I learned How to code all the robots.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innavative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties Knowledge Constructor because we learned how to code the robots.
A challenge I overcame on this project was using dash to make a catapult. I was able to do it by upgrading the catapult to make it more efficent.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change how long we spent on the dash robot. The reason why I would change it is because it was time consuming.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing. My project connects to the CTE program at Hastings High School. My project connects to careers in Robotics software engineer and these people designs prototypes, builds and tests machines, and maintains the software that controls them. .
