Using iPad copyright-free images, and iMovie, I created a video about what I like and some things about my life because that's what I wanted my video to be all about me.
During this process, I learned what and how copywrite works.
The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties Computational Thinker, to because I created something using technology and showed how I made it.
A challenge I overcame on this project was inserting the images into iMovie and making titles to tell what i made. I was able to do it by watching videos on how to insert and put titles in.
Given a chance to do this again, I would change some of the sound effects in the background. The reason why I would change it is because some of them didn't really make sense with the images.
Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, and Marketing. My project connects to the Digital Multimedia CTE program at Hastings High School.
My project connects to careers in creating video creatives because it wants you to make videos lust like my iMovie.
