• Using hot wheels track , I created a race track with loops because i wanted to see how fast the car could go and to see if it can go through the loops.

• During this process, I learned how to put the tracks together and make sure the car went the loops .

• The 7 standards of the class are Empowered Learner, Digital Citizen, Knowledge Constructor, Innovative Designer, Computational Thinker, Creative Communicator, and Global Collaborator. My project ties to innovative designer  because i had to figure out how things fit and i wanted to create new things i have never worked with.

• A challenge I overcame on this project was being able to make the car go through both loops and have enough speed. I was able to do it by moving the track higher so the car would get enough speed to go through both loops .

• Given a chance to do this again, I would change how big the track was and the amount of loops. The reason why I would change it is because i would like a longer and faster track .

• Hastings High School Career and Technical Education Program offers Agriculture, Business Management, Computer Programming, Construction Trades, Culinary Arts, Digital Multimedia, Engineering Design, Finance, Insurance, Marketing.  My project connects to the  engineering design CTE program at Hastings High School.  My project connects to careers in building tracks.
