Here, our day-to-day special ways of doing things are spelled out in detail. Whether you call them 'guidelines' or 'rules and regulations', for decades they have made the Hastings College Music Department a model for others around the country to emulate.

Immediately after notification of passing your jury. Contact your professor or Dr. Eckhardt for the program template (Microsoft Word format). Do not wait until days before your recital. INSTRUCTIONS
Open the template file in Microsoft Word (Google Docs will NOT work)
Input all necessary details of your recital (name, collaborator(s), date, works, dates, composers, degree, teacher's name, etc.)
Send to your studio professor for comments.
Make necessary changes to your program and save as a PDF.
Your professor will take care of printing the programs for your recital.
