Social Change and Social Justice Oral History Project

In the fall of 2017, American History in the 1960s and 1970s students at Hastings College participated in a Service-Learning oral history project that involved the collection of memories about social movements of the 1960s and 1970s. Each student conducted one oral history interview with individuals directly involved or tangentially affected by social movements of this era. This collection also encompasses a series of interviews conducted for an independent study focused on street harassment as well as other interviews related to historic and contemporary efforts to highlight or bring about social change in central Nebraska.
