The Center for Applied Media Arts is an interdisciplinary program that allows students across many disciplines to apply their visual and media skills to real-world projects. The Center works in collaboration with the Department of Communications, Department of Visual Arts, Office of Marketing & Communications and Hastings College Athletics.
Students working in the Center engage in projects ranging from live streaming athletic and other campus events; podcasting; drone photography & video; graphic design; digital printing, mounting, matting and framing; photography projects; and social media.
The Center is home to Hastings College independent student media, including the Collegian newspaper, BroncPod and HC Media.
The Center is located in Hastings College's Gray Center at 1100 North Elm Avenue, Hastings, Nebraska.
