Library Update
Ms Choudry will not be in school for a few weeks. The Library will be open as usual before registration and at break with Mr Charles supervising but will be closed AFTER school on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays. Mrs Khattak will be in as normal on Thursdays and Fridays.
Haslingden Library
There are going to be two meetings at Haslingden Library to allow young people to present ideas for events and activities they would like to see at the library. The sessions will be running as follows:
Tuesday 19 November, 5 pm – 6 pm.
Tuesday 26 November, 5 pm – 6 pm.
You are all welcome to come along to give an opinion on what you would like to see, but there is no commitment to be involved in the planning or delivering the events.
Crochet Club
Crochet Club will be starting on Monday 4th November from 2.50pm until 4pm in the library. All year groups are welcome. Everything you need can be provided - or you can bring your own if you’d rather. Suitable for beginners but keen crocheters and experts also welcome!

Yr 7, 8 and 9 students - remember to read and review on the AccessIt app to add towards your ‘Go for Gold’ total. You receive 10 house points for each review as well as prizes and certificates when reaching the targets. You will find many eBooks on 'ePlatform' too.
Yr 9, 10 and 11 students - don’t forget to take a look at our ‘16 before 16’ list and try to complete the challenge! Please see Ms Choudry and Mrs Khattak in the library or Mrs Morgan in the English block for more details.

We are reminding students of the opportunities to be awarded house points. Please find the table below that outlines just some of the ways you can get them! Clearly there are many more ways but if you are getting it right and putting in the extra effort, politely ask your teacher to award house points when they are deserved. Table Top Games Club
Table top gaming club will be running on Monday's after school until 4pm. This is a change from last year when it was on Thursday, we will try this until half term. We have a large selection of games to play and people are welcome to bring in their own also. All year groups are welcome to along.

National Citizenship Service (NCS) Summer Experience - Year 11 and Year 12
