My name is Tina Towers. I am the HCS Elementary Curriculum Coordinator. I was previously the Principal of Barkley Bridge Elementary for 5 ½ years. I have been in education for 34 years. I began my career in Arkansas where I taught kindergarten for 15 years. My husband’s company moved us to Mississippi where I taught 2nd grade for 2 years. In 2005, we moved to Alabama where I taught kindergarten and 1st grade. I also took the opportunity to be an Instructional Partner. I was the Coordinator of Curriculum and Professional Development for Hartselle City Schools and the Pre-K Director for two years. As you can see, I have had many different educational experiences in 34 years. I feel that all of these opportunities will help me to be the best leader I can be.
I am married to Tim Towers. He is a Branch Manager for Helena Chemical Company. My oldest son, Adam is 32 years old and lives in Jonesboro, Arkansas. He is married to Kristen and they have a 2-year-old son, Keller. My youngest son, Mason is 26 years old and also works for Helena in Tennessee. We are an outdoor-loving family. We love to fish, hunt, and play sports.
I was born and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas. I graduated from Fountain Lake High School. I went to Henderson State University in Arkadelphia, Arkansas where I earned my BS in Education/Early Childhood. I received my Masters in Educational Leadership from The University of Alabama.
My motto:
Be respectful, love one another, love learning, and be happy!!

My wife, Ashtin, and I have been married since 2007. We have five (yes, 5) wonderful boys (yes, all boys). Their names are Everett Isaiah, Emmett Josiah, Ellis Haddon, Elijah Kent, and Ezra Benjamin.
We reside in Cullman County and attend Crosshaven Church in Hanceville. In this season of life, we are continuing to learn the importance of intentionality with our time and energy... and with five kids, that's not always easy. Haha.
We are thankful to be part of the Hartselle family, and looking forward to great things that lie ahead! Go Tigers!
