I am originally from Galway, Ireland and I am the eldest of two children. All of my family are educators - my parents are both elementary school principals, and my brother is also an elementary school teacher. I am married to Nate, who is originally from Modesto. He is the principal at Central Catholic High School. We have a three year old daughter, named Molly.

I hold a bachelors degree in primary education from Dublin City University and a masters in education from the University of Notre Dame. This is where I met my husband! A few years later, I returned to Notre Dame to obtain further post-graduate qualifications in mild to moderate behavior interventions, as well as mild to moderate reading interventions. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE teaching, and I could not imagine doing anything else. When I am not teaching I love to workout (big bootcamp fan!), play cards and read on my Kindle. This is me with my husband and daughter, Molly.
