Welcome to 3A! I am Mrs. Japenga and I have been teaching at H-M-S for 30 years. It's hard for me to believe! I have taught Title I Reading, First grade and I'm currently in Third grade. I have always felt blessed to be a teacher at H-M-S! I love my job!
I currently live in Spencer with my husband Mark. He is a teacher in the High School. We have 5 grown children together (Taylor, Chase, Aliah, Jordan and Olivia). Together we have three grandchildren and I am so excited to be a grandma again this September! It's the best!
In my free time, I enjoy relaxing on my back deck with a book in my hands, chatting with friends or tending to my flowers. In the Iowa winter, I would rather hibernate! ;)

Activities = Ride my bike, Hike, Time with my family!
Sports = Volleyball and Football
Pets = Cockapoo Named Charley (spoiled) and Cat Named Lilly
Vacation = (Anywhere warm by the ocean)
