Hello, my name is Kimberly Dokter. I am one of the 3rd-grade teachers at Hartley Melvin Sanborn Elementary.  I am passionate about teaching children that we are entrusted with:) I substitute taught for 5 years before accepting a full-time position with HMS, and am currently in my 16th year teaching with the Hawk family! Not many people can say they enjoy coming to work every day, but I do :)

      My at-home family consists of life in Boyden with my husband, Brent, our blended family, including Gavin, Ryer, and our dog, Lucy. Our oldest daughter, Kira, and our grandchildren live in South Dakota. Our other daughter, Kinley, and her husband live in Texas. Our oldest son, Addikin, his wife, and our granddaughter live in northeastern Iowa. Our other son, Braden, lives in Northwest Iowa. When I'm not busy with school and family, I like to watch our Iowa Hawkeyes and love all things outdoors :)
