Meet Mrs. Prins
Hi! My name is Janet Prins and I am starting my 35th year of teaching at HMS Elementary. My husband Arlin and I have been married for 24 years and live in Hartley. We both like to travel, boat, hike, golf, and fish. We are also big fans of the Iowa Hawkeyes!!! Spending our Saturdays with 70,000 other fans in the fall cheering on the Hawkeyes is pretty awesome! At school, I teach TK-4th PE/JAM and I also developed an adaptive program for those kids who struggle physically in my regular setting. The staff and students at HMS Elementary are awesome and each day at work is always a new adventure!
This year is dedicated to our little cancer fighter, Margarett. There is no one stronger than her or more courageous than her. She reminds us that each day is a gift! 💚 💗
