Peter Bekkerus

My name is Peter Bekkerus, and I am the high school and 5-6 band director at HMS. This is my first year of teaching, and I am excited to work at both the high school and the middle school at HMS! I am originally from Denison, IA, and I attended Iowa State University. While at Iowa State, I had the opportunity to participate in multiple ensembles, such as the ISUCF'V'MB, the ISU Wind Ensemble, and the ISU Jazz Ensemble 2.0. I'm excited to continue on the excellence of the HMS Band Program while adding on to its success.
