Hello! 

My name is Angela Berg and I’m the new High School Business Teacher at HMS. I have taken the unconventional route of becoming a teacher. I went to Iowa State University and received my BA in Business and Marketing. While working full time I received my MBA from Drake University.  

A majority of my corporate career, I worked for a medical device company where I taught doctors about products and taught time efficient techniques. The past few years, I was a teacher's associate at Okoboji Elementary School helping kids with executive functions and learning disabilities. I’m excited to be able to incorporate my school and work experiences in the business curriculum. I’m the FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) Advisor.

My husband and I live in Spirit Lake and enjoy ATVing, gardening, and boating. We have a one year old dog named Buster. He is full of energy and loves to hunt.
