Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! My name is Katie Toering. I teach Intro to Social Studies, US History II, History Through Film and World War II.  I attended Western Iowa Tech in Sioux City to receive my AA.  From there, I transferred to Northwestern in Orange City where I received my BA in Secondary Education and History. I live in Sheldon . I have 5 children.   In my free time I like to read, spend time with my family especially at the lake (we are frequent visitors to Lake of the Ozarks), golfing, shopping, and hiking.
