At GCSE, Maths is often learned as a sequence of separate, unconnected skills, sometimes roughly classified into topics, such as Statistics or Algebra.
At A Level, you start to see how a great deal of mathematics is linked in an deep way. What we would like you to do is carry out a series of tasks and investigations that will help you to see how one piece of Maths in particular pops up in many areas of study that are not obviously connected.
The tasks you are going to do for us lead in to important elements of the A level Maths syllabus, and will give you an insight into both algebraic and statistical topics of the course.
