LPGA Chevron Changing the Face of Golf Scholarship

AWARD: $2,500 (5 awards available)
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) High school senior
B) Identify as Asian, Black or African-American, Hispanic/Latin-American, American Indian or Alaskan Native, Native Hawaiian, or other Pacific Islander
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Must be enrolled or planning to enroll in a full-time undergraduate program leading to a bachelor’s degree or a community/junior college designed to allow for a direct transfer into a four-year program.
B) Minimum GPA of 3.0
C) You must validate your eligibility as a military dependent by entering the benefits number found on the reverse of the Uniformed Services Identification (USID) card. If you qualify for an ID card but do not have one, immediately schedule a visit to a military personnel office with the proper documentation.
Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial Scholarship Program

AWARD:
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Pursuing a degree, credential or certification for a teaching-related career in public education in an accredited institution of higher education and a member of a defined BIPOC group (African American/Black, American Indian/Alaska Native, Asian/Pacific Islander or Hispanic)
B) be an active member of CTA or dependent child of an active CTA/NEA retired CTA Member
AWARD: $500- $1,000 (Also eligible to receive a higher award of $5,000 rom Zonta International)
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) demonstrate evidence of active commitment to volunteerism
B) Experience in local government, student government, or workplace leadership
C) Knowledge of Zonta International and its programs
D) support Zonta's International's mission of empowering the status of women worldwide

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) The applicant must be in the last year of high school or home schooling and scheduled to graduate and attend college full-time during the subsequent year.
B) Students must plan to attend an accredited college or university for undergraduate studies. Scholarships will not be awarded for participation in nonacademic and/or certified programs. Students accepting appointments to USAFA, USNA, USMA, USCGA, or USMMA are not eligible.
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Exhibit a strong commitment to pursue and complete a bachelor’s degree at an accredited non-profit public or private institution in the United States immediately after high school graduation (students may start their studies at a two-year institution and then transfer to a four-year institution)
B) Demonstrate financial need.
C) Be involved in co-curricular and community service activities and Display integrity and perseverance in overcoming adversity
D) Maintain a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 2.0
A) The scholarship recipients will be eligible to receive their scholarship upon enrollment to an accredited trade school, college, or university within the United States. Disbursement of the scholarship funds through an online request will be made available jointly to the student and the school. Scholarship winners must utilize the total award within four (4) years of their post-high school graduation date, excluding active military duty or religious mission.
B) Additionally, the American Legion Eagle Scout of the Year will travel to join the Youth Champion Delegation of The American Legion that is honored each August at the annual National Convention of The American Legion.
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) must be enrolled at and attend the same school or campus as the sponsoring CTA member.
B) Participants must show evidence of how one or more of the below principles are evident in their lives.
Principles of nonviolence, Self-determination through unionization (forming and joining unions), Social justice for farmworkers, Safe food/health/environmental issues, Human and civil rights issues, Teamwork, cooperation, collaboration and/or service to others, Empowerment of the disenfranchised, Innovation and education
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Scholarships will be awarded to students whose personal goals, college major and declared career path indicate future success in a field related to primary or secondary education.
To be eligible for the scholarship a senior student must:
A) Complete the scholarship Application Form and have attended WR for at least one year
B) Complete a personal statement on career and educational goals (less than 50 words)
C) Complete an essay of no more than 350 words on one of the following prompts:
Reflect on a leadership role you took during a volunteer experience. What inspired you to step into this role, and how did it challenge or change you? Discuss how this experience helped you grow as a leader and the impact it had on your community and personal goals.
Leadership is often about making a difference through service. Describe a time when you led or organized a volunteer effort. How did this experience shape your understanding of effective leadership, and what did you learn about yourself and the people you served?
A one page resume of work experience, community service experience, or other significant involvement.
To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:

B) Describe your educational career and life goals. Explain your plan for achieving these goals. Include your degree/major, why you selected it, and how this degree/major will help you achieve your goals.
California Aeronautical University Emergency Responder Scholarship

To be eligible for the scholarship a student must:
A) Submit a completed tuition reduction application below on this page and tuition reduction agreement. Submit an official high school transcript with a statement of intention to graduate.
B) Submit a recommendation letter completed by the applicant’s High School
C) Submit a typed essay approximately 1-2 pages in length, explaining your desire to pursue the chosen area of study and describe any long-term goals.
