“To accomplish great things we must not only act, but also dream; not only plan, but also believe.” -Anatole France. My name is Daria Dominguez and I’m running for Executive Board for the 2026-2027 school year. ASB has taught me so much and helped me grow through so many experiences. I’ve created countless posters, spirit days, and LTAs to make a more enjoyable environment here at Rio Norte. I’m organized, hard working, honest, and have strong morals that I will apply to make an unforgettable year. If elected, I will use student’s valuable ideas from all across campus to make a difference. I am a person with strong integrity, and will ensure that these are not just empty promises. I will strive to give it my all to make these words a reality. I’m a proud river hawk with an even prouder voice. I’m never afraid to stick up for others or display my opinions, through any situation, thick or thin. Anywhere I go whether it's on or off campus, I display these qualities to my fullest potential, no matter the circumstance. As a kid, I’ve always wanted to help lead. Whether it was student council, or just a group discussion I’ve always aspired to assist my community. Let’s make Rio Norte a better environment by voting for Daria!
Hey River Hawks! My name is Natalia Lopez and I am running for a position for the 2026/27 executive board. Spending my time here at Rio Norte and being in ASB has been the highlight of my 7th grade year. ASB has taught me many things such as being a good leader and an excellent communicator. During this year I helped plan dances, spirit days, LTA's and so much more. I also helped promote school events and how awesome Rio Norte is at different elementary schools. I believe that the skills and abilities that ASB has taught me will help me make this school year better than the last. Being a student at Rio Norte helped me know what the school community wants to see more of, and what it takes to make your voice heard and make it happen. If you want unforgettable dances, better spirit days, memorable rallies, and an amazing Turkey Bowl, or just a great year overall, I'm your girl! So vote Natalia Lopez for E-board if you want an amazing and memorable last middle school year!

“Sometimes we never know the value of a moment until it becomes a memory” -Dr. Seuss. My name is Manya Palle and I am running for the 26-27 E-Board. Being on ASB has been an amazing experience where I’ve learned about leadership, teamwork and creating an inclusive environment. Through creating poster ads, presenting to elementary schools, and helping organize and set up dances and rallies, I believe I have made a lasting impact on our school. ASB has helped me grow as a leader, and has given me the opportunity to contribute creative ideas that enhance school spirit. I’ve learned that even small efforts can have a big impact on others’ experiences. Even though I am excited for what the future holds, I won’t forget what I have learned on ASB and how it has shaped me into the person I am today. On E-Board, I will apply these lessons by continuing to create meaningful, inclusive events and opportunities so that every student can walk away with memories they truly value.
Living near Rio Norte as a child, I used to hear the music of songs during school dances from my house. I could hear the laughter, fun, and comfort of the students. Ever since that moment, I knew I wanted to be the reason they had a smile on their face. Hi, I'm Naga Om Pannapali, and I'm running for the 2026-2027 ASB Executive Board. Joining ASB, I have learned what it takes to be a learner, a listener, and a leader. Over this year, I have learned many different ASB skills like organizing LTA’s, setting up dances, and doing many things to appreciate our teachers, while also learning many personal skills like responsibility and purpose. I have also listened to students' feedback on ASB events, and I am ready to take in your feedback and improve our events. With these qualities, I have learned what it takes to be a leader. If I get selected, I will do this by setting up google docs where students can vote for ideas like LTA’s Spirits, and dances, so your voice can be heard. Also, outside of school, I have led others in many ways. From being captain of my baseball team, to leading classes of students in TaekwonDo with my masters. I really think I can make Rio Norte your second home, where all students are welcome and happy. But I can’t do it alone, so make sure to vote Om Pannapli for the Executive Board!
“Somewhere inside of all of us is the power to change the world” -Roald Dahl. Hi, my name is Cassidee Prieto and I am running for the 2026-2027 executive board. I would be a good fit for E-board because I am a responsible student and will make your voice heard. I will try to make the school more inclusive so everyone feels more involved. Being an active member in Asb has taught me to be a leader, organizer, planner, and communicator. I have helped plan a dance, make posters, and create advertisements for spirit days and much more. During my free time, I spend time with my friends and family and they have shown me to take on leadership roles, to always be kind to everyone, and to be involved with the community. I enjoy having the responsibility of having big roles to take on so if you vote me for the executive board, I will be a true and stable leader.

Hi - I am Ben Roth
I am a young student who always put others in front of me. I plan to be on the ASB Executive board next
year. I believe I should be on it because I carry out jobs and attempts them to be as perfect as they can be. I
believe my most influential job was to make food packages for homeless people in the Philippines and Haiti
for over 8 hours collectively. I have even worked at 2 different schools adding up to 10+ hours. I have even
spent hours helping 2 of the largest clubs Rio Norte has to offer including Basketball club and Science
Olympiad. All of his service hours add up to over 28 hours of work. In summary I am the ideal choice for the
26-27 ASB executive board.
Isaiah Hernandez: Ben Roth is a really good helper in class and is very kind. He is responsible and
always on task. He should be in ASB next year as well.
Johann Lanza: Ben Roth is one of the most certified people for ASB next year. In my opinion, he is a
huge help with anything I need to do. He is a responsible, hard working student and he is always in a
good mood.
Rylie Smart: Ben is kind, trustworthy, honest, and always willing to help.He has always been there for
me, he has gone above and beyond, and exceeds my expectations. I can say with absolute confidence
That Ben Roth deserves a place on the ASB E board.
Mrs. Zide: Ben would be the perfect candidate for E-board because he helps bring people together and
is hard working, energetic and loves school!
Zach Monterola: Ben is such a good helper and student who is always forgiving and easy going. This is
because he helps ASB during the hard times(Like when he had to make big posters)He is easy going
since he never gets mad or hold grudges. I think these traits qualify him for ASB E board.
In elementary school, I was in Student Service. I helped plan fundraisers and make posters for spirit days. I displayed leadership, kindness, respect, and responsibility. Those characteristics taught me lessons, and what to do to make and achieve goals. Two goals I have really wanted to achieve was making ASB in 7th grade, which I accomplished, and secondly was to make the E-board for 8th grade and beyond for my high school years. In elementary, the impact was to get better PE equipment. That’s what everyone wanted, and by the time I left sixth grade, that goal was achieved. Now, here at Rio Norte, everyone wants a say in things such as: LTA’s, dances and spirit days. I want to make sure that by the time I leave junior high school, that can be achieved. Not just for the present students, but for the future ones. I want to implement a way for everyone to be heard. Things like weekly or monthly interviews asking for LTA or dance ideas or bringing out the Conversation Cart out more are some of the ideas I have to help everyone at Rio have the best possible experience in Junior High school. I want everyone to have a chance to have a voice, and I want it to be loud and clear. For voices, for goals, for happiness. Vote Kylie Swanson for E-Board!

"Knowing is not enough; we must apply. Willing is not enough; we must do." — Johann Wolfgang von Goethe.
Hi, I’m Christian Youssef, and I’m running for ASB Executive Board because I’m ready to take on a larger role in shaping the energy, spirit, and experience of Rio Norte. My time in ASB has shown me what it truly takes to plan and execute successful events like LTAs, spirit days, and dances, and I’ve learned how important teamwork, organization, and accountability are in making those events happen. Through my extracurricular activities, I’ve developed discipline, time management, and consistency, which have taught me how to stay committed and perform under pressure while balancing multiple responsibilities. I want to take what I’ve learned and apply it to creating more meaningful, engaging events while also strengthening student voice so every idea has a chance to be heard and considered. I am focused, dependable, and ready to lead through action, not just words, and I’m committed to putting in the effort needed to help ASB continue improving. Vote Christian Youssef for Executive Board.
