As a child, I watched with admiration as my school’s executive board members confidently spoke to the crowd, and I hoped one day to be in the same position as them, representing my school. Unfortunately, by the time I came of age, all the executive board positions had been eliminated by the school. My name is Olivia Abdullah, and I’m running for Rio Norte’s executive board with the hope of finally making that childhood goal a reality. But my motivation goes beyond personal aspirations. I want to ensure your voices are heard. I believe in creating a space where your ideas can be shared and considered by ASB. I plan to implement suggestion boxes and send out Google Forms before dances to gather your fun ideas on what you’d like to see. Right now, there isn’t exactly a clear way for you to do that, but I’m ready to make it happen. I’m committed, determined, and ready to push for YOU to be seen. When you vote for me, you’re voting for someone who values honesty and action. I’m not just a dreamer – I’m someone who envisions a better future and works toward it. Let’s build a better Rio Norte together. Vote for Olivia Abdullah for executive board!
“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me”- Philippians 4:13. Hi, my name is Milom Agbeibor, and I am running for ASB executive board. I believe I should be apart of E-board because of how much I am committed to improving your experience here at Rio Norte. I can help boost your experience here in Rio Norte by making fun intriguing LTA’s, and spirit days for the whole school to love and enjoy. As a member of e-board, I will support the student body by being a dependable leader, making needed improvements, and promoting a welcoming atmosphere all around. In general, ASB has taught me many important lessons and skills like event planning, communication skills, and responsibility. Learning all of those things will help me be more qualified and ready for the Job. Next year is full of many potential, and I am ready to help you fulfill it.
“The best way to predict your future is to create it.” - Abraham Lincoln. Hey Riverhawks! I’m Jackie Cipriano and I am running a spot on the 2025-2026 ASB executive board! Being here at Rio and my time in ASB has been such an amazing part of my year. ASB has taught me so many amazing things, like how to be a good leader to how to plan a great LTA or dance. Throughout this year I got to be a part of the planning for spirit days, LTA’s and dances, and so many more events. I also got to help advertise and/or be a part of executing these events! I believe the skills ASB has taught me will definitely help me, if you vote for me for E-Board! As to why you should vote for me, as a student myself I know the student body’s wants, dislikes and likes, and I can make your voice heard! I can also help make many different events, including dances, LTA’s and more, more exciting and that are more to the student body's liking. A vote for me is a vote to get your voice heard, so vote Jackie C for a part on the 2025-2026 E-Board!
My name is Rick El Tom, and one reason I believe I can greatly impact the student body if I get into E-Board is because I have many great qualities that can improve and boost ASB, such as great leadership skills, organization, prioritizing my work, and getting stuff done when needed. Another reason I think this is because for any events that are ASB-related, such as spirit days, LTAs, dances, and any other events, I excel at planning and organizing these events since I have great ideas that I know the student body would like to participate in, and I am great at advertising them through voiceovers and videos. Outside of school, I do many other activities that I can apply to ASB, such as supervising kids at the Boys and Girls Club and being an assistant coach for a peewee soccer team. “The difference between a successful person and others is not a lack of strength, not a lack of knowledge, but rather a lack in will.” - Vince Lombardi Jr. This quote stands out to me because it shows how even if you have the strength and knowledge to do something, if you do not have any will, it will be tough for you to succeed. I can apply this to ASB because while in ASB, you have to put forth some will while you are working on your council to get the best outcome. All of these reasons show that electing me for E-Board can help impact the school and contribute to the many things ASB is responsible for.
"The only way to do great work is to love what you do." – Steve Jobs. Hi River Hawks! I am Braelyn Feivou and I am running for the 2025-2026 ASB E-board. During ASB I love to celebrate teachers, make fun LTA’s, and plan the school dances. I am passionate about making our great school even better, whether it’s doing something small like recognizing teachers for their achievements, or creating fun school-wide dances for everyone to enjoy. I am a genuinely dedicated leader, I bring new, outgoing ideas to the table, and I will guarantee you an amazing year here at Rio. I will make Rio a stronger community, more inclusive, and more fun by putting on more fun LTA’s available for everyone, and more fun spirit days for you to enjoy! I am committed to making your year at Rio the best year ever. With my experience, energy, and determination, I am exactly the leader for this school year. I know exactly what you want, vote for me and we’ll make next year even better!
" Hard work beats talent when talent fails to work hard.” - Kevin Durant Hi, my name is Giorgio Guastella, and I am running for the Executive Board. I would be a great addition to the board because of my strong leadership skills, which I can bring to ASB next year. I am also inclusive and cooperative with everyone. This past year in ASB has taught me a lot and helped me become a better version of myself. I have learned to make better choices, generate exciting event ideas, and stay well-organized. I am committed to creating a positive and engaging environment for all students, where everyone's voice is heard and valued. Outside of school, I go to Church and help with the service, which taught me new skills such as better organization and better communication skills. If I get elected, I guarantee that I will make Rio Norte a better environment for you, so YOU can have the best experience possible.
Ziad K. Abdelnour once said to “[n]ever erase your past. It shapes who you are today and will help you to be the person you’ll be tomorrow.” Hi, my name is Emersyn Jacobs and I am running for Executive Board. I firmly believe that my schools, past and present, have made me the leader I am today. My parents may have raised me, but my school has shaped me. And if I am to be molded into one of the next members of our E-Board, I will further shape our school into a more fun and safe environment. I hope to give all students more of a say in our dances, events, spirit days and more. What makes me qualified to represent us? Well, don’t take it from me. My peers and family can both tell you that I am smart, responsible, kind, and considerate. I hope to invest all of that into our school’s surroundings if given the chance.
“We are only as strong as we are united as weak as we are divided.” -J.K. Rowling
Hi, my name is Sloane Montalban, and I’m running for the 2025–2026 Executive Board.
This past year in ASB has taught me so much about leadership, teamwork, and making a difference on campus. I’ve helped plan dances, organize LTAs, create posters and ads, and be part of many other projects that bring our school to life. These experiences have helped me grow as a leader and understand what it truly takes to stay organized, work as a team, and create a positive impact. If elected, I want to focus on boosting school spirit, improving communication between ASB and the student body, and making sure our events reflect what you want to see. I want everyone to feel like their voice matters.
I’m a hard worker, a team player, and I care deeply about our campus community. I’m committed to creating a space where every student feels seen, supported, and heard. Together, we can build a stronger, more united community by voting Sloane for Executive Board!
I'm Aiden Moreno, and I'm running for the 2025-2026 Rio Norte Executive Board. In my free time, I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing various sports. I’ve been extremely fortunate to be an active member of the ASB team, which has helped me develop as a leader and organizer. I believe I deserve your vote because I’m committed to making our dances more exciting with fun activities, turning the LTAs into more hands-on experiences, and organizing bigger rallies to support our sports teams, student clubs and school functions. I want to make sure everyone feels included and welcomed in our school community. I’ll work hard to create a positive environment where everyone has a place to belong and can fully engage in all that Rio Norte has to offer. These are just a few of the reasons to vote for me. So, remember to vote Aiden for Executive Board!
"It always seems impossible until it's done." -Nelson Mandel. I’m Isabella Parker, and I am running for executive board in the 2025-2026 school year. It has been an honor to serve this last year in ASB, and I can’t wait to do it again next year! I am ready for the position on E-board because I’m hard-working, easy to get along with, and I’m not afraid to speak up. When I’m not in school, I’m either cheering, baking, or hanging out with my family. I’m going to make sure that the LTA’s are more exciting, the dances are more fun, and make the campus more inclusive. This is my VISION, now it’s your DECISION!!
“Hey Riverhawks, my name is Connor Whitehorn, and I am in the running for ASB Executive Board for the 2025-2026 school year. Now, a lot of you who are reading this might not know me personally, but I have a very energetic personality, and like to help others whenever needed. I also really enjoy making things better for every person I see, and I try my best to help them with whatever troubles them. Now, on top of helping others that way, I can help the entire school with my experience in creating fun and new ideas for the student body, via LTAs, dances, and spirit days. I am always open to making new friends, continuing old friendships, and making everyone happy no matter what. Outside of school, I mainly hang out with friends, make comics, and sing songs in musical theatre. If I am lucky enough to get onto next year’s Executive Board, I can promise even better days for the school community. That’s why you should have the honor of voting for Connor!”
