Future Performers

Hart Show Choir

Hart Show Choir is a Nationally Recognized show choir program consisting of four competitive choirs: Hart N Soul, Unleashed, Hartbreakers, and Sound Vibrations. These groups meet daily in class and practice after school one afternoon/ evening a week in order to prepare for concerts, competitions, and other community events. The show choir performers learn proper vocal technique, performance skills, and choreography throughout the year culminating in a spring competition season, which takes place between February and April.  Being a member of HSC requires the same level of commitment as being a member of any other team sport.  No prior experience is necessary. One must complete an audition to be considered.

Auditions for the 2024-2025 School Year will take place April 29-May 2, 2024.

Auditions for HSC 24-25 will consist of you singing a song of your choice (pop, rock, musical theater style preferred- about 1:30 long - with instrumental backing track) and performing a dance combination that will be taught to you during this week.

Starting Monday 4/29, we will be holding dance clinics to teach the combination for auditions. There will be multiple days/times for you to come and learn from our choreographers and dance captains during this week, with the final dance call taking place on Thursday May 2. Vocal Auditions will be by appointment only on Wednesday 5/1. A sign up sheet will be posted outside the choir room in the R building starting on April 15th. Auditions will take place in the Hart High Choir Room and Auditorium. Check our Hart Choir website (www.hartchoir.com) to keep up to date on audition information.  More info to come!

Hart Dance

The Hart Dance Team is made up of a group of dancers who practice daily in order to prepare their bodies and minds for school events, such as football games, rallies, basketball games, and other community events.  The dancers also train and learn choreography for competition season, which takes place between January and March.  Being a member of HDT is just like being a member of any sports team.  Anyone considering trying out for Hart Dance Team should be currently training in dance and have a strong knowledge of dance techniques.
