How Can You Apply for CSF? Online is preferred, but there are also paper applications available in Room 522.
*READ THE QUALIFICATIONS IN THE SECTION BELOW TO SEE IF YOU QUALIFY!!!* (It's a point system-not based on GPA. However, NO D's or F's)
The next deadline to apply is Friday, September 26th at 3 pm.
Interested students need to complete the online application by September 26th at 3 pm or turn in a paper application to Mrs. Wobrock in room 522 by September 26th. Freshmen can apply in the spring semester of their freshman year if they choose. Community service is not mandatory for membership, but is needed if you plan on applying for the CSF scholarships. We will be hosting a Day of Service (campus beautification) this Fall - stay tuned!
When students apply, they must attach a copy of their grade transcript from Spring Semester 2025. Please convert to a PDF when submitting online. You can find your transcripts by logging in to Infinite Campus and looking under "Documents." Please see Mrs. Wobrock in Room 522 or your counselor if you are having trouble locating your transcript.
There are $5 dues. You will pay them at the ASB store either in person or online (online payment for CSF dues can be found in the online store under "Organizations") Only pay the dues once you have received an "ACCEPTED to CSF" email. You cannot be refunded.
SENIORS WILL NEED TO APPLY TO A FINAL "SEMESTER!!!!" (more details to come in January 2026)
Dues do not need to be paid twice by seniors. If you pay at the start of the fall semester, you don't have to pay again in the Spring.
To qualify for a cord at graduation you need 4 semesters of membership (spring semester sophomore year to spring semester senior year).
To qualify for a stole at graduation you need 6 semesters of membership (spring semester sophomore year to spring semester senior year).
You MUST take a minimum of four (4) academic classes in order to qualify for CSF for your last semester (Seal Bearers)
A. To qualify for CSF membership this semester, follow these guidelines:
1. You must earn a minimum of 10 points from last semester’s grades.
2. The first 4 points must be from LIST I (unless you are a senior applying for membership in April).
3. The first 7 points (including the four points described in a) must be from LISTS I and II.
4. The remaining points may come from any LIST (I, II, or III).
5. You must use no more than 5 courses to qualify.
6. No CSF points are given for physical education, courses taken in lieu of physical education, subjects repeated to improve a grade, courses involving clerking and office/teaching assistant, and courses taken on a pass/fail basis.
B. CSF points are granted as follows: (This is not like your GPA... it is specific to CSF)
a grade of A = 3 CSF points.
a grade of B = 1 CSF point.
One additional point shall be granted for a grade of A or B in an AP or Honors course, up to a maximum of two such points per semester. College courses do NOT earn honors points.
a grade of C = 0 CSF points.
a grade of D or F in any course, even in one you cannot use to qualify, disqualifies you from membership at this time.
C. Also remember:
Semester membership is based on work done in the previous semester. (NO summer school may be used)
You must reapply each semester.
Freshmen may apply beginning in the spring of their freshman year.
D. Make sure to list the 4 or 5 courses you are using to qualify in the proper locations in the application. Consult the LIST for proper placement. See Mrs. Wobrock for any iCAN or CCR classes you are using to qualify in order to figure out which list they belong on (usually list 2 or 3).
