This site is designed to assist you in planning for your upcoming Senior Activities. These activities are specifically for graduating seniors and are listed in the order that you will need to pay attention to them. Please note the events and details of each. If you have any questions, please contact Sr. Herincx in the ASB office or email at gherincx@hartdistrict.org.
To the Class of 2024:
We have prepared the Senior Handbook to highlight the activities and events that we hope will take place during your senior year at Canyon High School. We encourage you to participate in and enjoy as many events as possible, once we are able to put them on the calendar. Please remember, the expectation is that all students will make positive decisions and follow all school rules throughout this last year to ensure that you do not miss out on any of these memorable senior activities and experiences.
Take pride in not only what you have accomplished while at Canyon High School, but also what you’ve achieved beyond academics and co-curricular accomplishments. I hope that some of the most significant lessons you have learned over the past few years were outside of the classroom walls. I’m confident that each of you possesses the courage, character, and competency to achieve whatever aspirations you set for yourself. I encourage you to set the bar high. Expect nothing less of yourself than a first-rate performance as you first walk across the stage and then down the pathways of life. I look forward to seeing each and every one of you crossing the stage at your commencement ceremony and congratulating you on a job well done.
Your future started here! Build on that foundation and continue to develop the skills necessary to meet the challenge of life and find your own personal success stories.
I look forward to participating with you in many of these activities, culminating with GRADUATION.
Best of luck!
Shellie Holcombe
Principal

Citations will be issued to vehicles without permits, improperly parked, or parked in the faculty-reserved slots. Students who violate parking lot regulations will face disciplinary measures and may lose the privilege to park in the Student Parking Lot. Permits are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis, and space is extremely limited.
All District requirements must be met before the school can certify graduation. Seniors failing to meet graduation requirements cannot participate in the Graduation Ceremony or any Senior Class Activity. Non-grads are not eligible for refunds for any Senior events for which they may have prepaid.
