At Canyon High School, our cheerleading program is more than just cheers and sidelines—we are a team built on excellence, respect, grit, grind, kindness, competition, and compassion. We support our athletic teams, energize the student body, and serve as role models on and off campus.

✨Our Mission✨

Our MISSION is to promote and uphold school spirit by embracing Cowboy PRIDE. Canyon High School’s Cheerleading Teams will help foster a sense of good sportsmanship and unification among the students, parents, alumni, fans and the community at Canyon High School. We will show support to all of our athletic teams, establish a positive game-day atmosphere, and encourage positive crowd participation and relationships between schools, peers, teachers, local businesses and members within the community during all school related events. Together we will take pride in each other, our school and our community and uphold our responsibility as a role model and leader by maintaining a positive and professional manner at all times, and demonstrating Perseverance, Respect, Integrity, Discipline and Effort. We place emphasis on developing strong and confident young adults to help prepare them for life after high school and our program cannot be successful without the support of our families and the commitment of the members of our teams.

✨Program Levels✨

• Varsity Sideline Cheer: Leadership, school-wide representation, and competition

• JV Sideline Cheer: Skill-building, spirit-leading, game day development and competition.

• Competition Team: COMING SOON
