I have been teaching at Hart High School since 2009. I have taught AP Calculus (AB and BC), AP Computer Science A, Precalc, Honors Precalc, Honors Algebra 2/Trig, Algebra 2/Trig, and Algebra 1. I am the club advisor for the Magic: the Gathering club and chess club. In the past, I coached the JV baseball team and was a class adviser. I grew up in Seattle, and I graduated from Harvey Mudd College in 2008 with a major in mathematics and earned my masters degree in education from Stanford in 2009.
Outside of work, I like to play golf and flag football. I also follow pro sports, particularly the NFL (go hawks!) and MLB. I play Magic: the Gathering and Hearthstone competitively, bike, watch movies, play video games, and bake/eat a lot of food. I also enjoy board games, crossword puzzles, and listening to heavy metal. I live in Valencia with my wife Cassie and sons Wesley and Ryan.
