What is your Covid-19 SOP for Studio & Classes?

1. All classes are only at 50% occupancy according to the studio size.

2. Everyone is required encouraged to wear a face mask in the studio at all times.

3. All studio staff and students are required to be fully vaccinated.

4. Anyone with flu symptoms or not feeling well are not allowed to be in the studio.

5. Everyone is encouraged to sanitize their hands as often as possible.

6. Only proper dance shoes are allowed in the dance studio.

7. To practice social distancing at the receptionist and lounge area.

How do I register for the classes at Frisk and Swing?

1. Please register yourself at http://www.friskandswing.com/register and select the dances which best suit your interest.

2. Your personal information is confidential and will not be revealed to other parties. PDPA notice as stated in the registration page.

3. We support saving the environment by going paperless. Kindly drop us a message on our Insta frisknSwing or FB friskandswing for class queries until our online system is ready.

What if I’m late for the intake?

Class demo video will be provided by the instructors for every class, any questions you can refer to the instructors.

I'm new to dance! Where do I start?

1. Ping us at our social media for more info on selecting which dance styles fit your interest.

Do I need dance shoes to start dancing?

For a start, you can go with some socks on or even barefoot. You may invest in a pair of shoes when you're ready.

Do I need to come with a partner?

Absolutely not! It's a social dance, we require no partners to start. Just bring yourself!

Replacement policy

1. There will be no replacement for students who miss their classes.

2. Any students who miss their class, if informed 24 hours in advance and any other reasons being serious in nature, class may be replaced subject to instructor’s sole discretion.

3. There will be no carry forward on the credit hours to any other levels/dances or courses.

4. If due to unforeseen circumstances that the instructor is unable to conduct a class session and there is no replacement, the class will be replaced fully within the course period.

Payment Matters

1. We only accept cashless transactions. You can make payment to us via online bank transfer (CIMB, BAILADANCE PLT, 8010716572), DuitNow, eWallet (TnG, GrabPay) or Credit Card.

2. Proof of payment (bank transfer) to be forwarded to payment@friskandswing.com indicating invoice number (if applicable). Payment screenshot (Duitnow) can be sent to current studio admin on duty.

3. Invoice and receipt of payment will be issued electronically and sent over via provided email. Please ensure your email address submitted is valid.

4. Payment must be made before any class commences.

5. Dance package purchased is non-transferable.

6. The 6 Term Package will come with a first come first serve basis for the one year free locker usage.

Studio Facility Usage

1. Showers are only permitted for use by paying students.

2. No cup will be provided for water dispensers. Please bring your own tumbler.

3. Grand Piano usage are for rental or recording purposes only. Strictly no access for any other purpose.

4. Storage Lockers can be rented on first come first serve basis (please refer to the Locker Policy).

Locker Policy

1. Nothing organic can be store , i.e. plants, animals, fruits or vegetables.

2. No harmful chemical including flammable object, I.e. propane, ammunition, gas tank etc.

3. Locker Renter prohibited from storing items which could potentially be deemed unsafe and cause harm to self or others , alcohol , controlled substance or any other items prohibited by the studio or law of Malaysia. Doing so may be considered a criminal code violation.

4. Locker may be opened by studio personnel for emergency purposes or for good cause determine by the studio owner.

5. If the rent for the storage unit is in arrears for more than 30 days, the lock will be cut & all items will be disposed of . The locker will then be re-rented & arrears of the locker fees will go against the offending unit with a fine levied of RM100. This amount will collect interest & remain on the unit owners account until paid in full.

6. Studio owner reserves the right to cancel the use of any storage locker to tenant without any refund or advance notice if the terms of this agreement have been breached by the student.

7. Locker fees must be paid for the year in advance, No exceptions. This can be paid by online transfer, credit card payment , QR transfer and Duitnow to Bailadance PLT

8. Storage Locker Rental Agreement must be agreed and signed by Locker Renter. 

9. If locker renter requests to terminate the Storage Locker, he/she must provide 30 days notice

10. Locker Storage Rental Agreement will be terminated if he/she fails to pay the rental fee.

Others

Any referral fee for referral?

Not at the moment.

Is there a couple (2 pax) dance package or any other special promotion?

Not at the moment. We may run promotions from time to time, please keep on the lookout for us on various social media platforms.
