Book Week
To reflect Harrow Bangkok's 25th anniversary, we had 25 events on across Lower School for Harrow Book Week. What an absolute delight!
It would be slightly unfair for me to pick the highlights, but the children absolutely adored the visitors Christian (Christian Foley) and Khun Jan (Jan Urupongsa). Their books are soon to be catalogued for our Library Spaces, so make sure you keep an eye out on our New Arrivals section.
Personally, I also enjoyed taking Year 3 over to the Early Years for a stay and play. The shadow puppets were a little bit difficult, so the Year 3 children were very flexible in switching up the ideas and going for a read and a play with the Early Years children instead. The look of delight when siblings came into the Early Years classrooms were priceless! It has me inspired to forge more connections like this within Lower and Upper School.
I shall not say any more but let the pictures speak a thousand words instead. Thank you to Ms. Bank, Ms. Butler, Ms. Pang, Ms. Pum and Ms. Yui for helping to pull off a week that I hope is talked about for months to come 😁
Best wishes,
Ms. Saki
