Teacher Bio

My teaching career began at HTS 19 years ago. After earning my undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a minor in Special Education, I began as a classroom teacher. I thoroughly enjoyed teaching Kindergarten, First, and Second grades. After receiving my Master’s Degree in Reading with my Reading Specialist certification, I transitioned to a reading interventionist position serving K-1. HTS offered me the opportunity to earn a certification in the

Wilson Reading System. This achievement certified me as a Wilson Dyslexia Practitioner (W. D. P.). I then began providing intervention for grades 2 and 3.

I am passionate about reading. I look forward to working with your child to strengthen and support literacy. Together we will EXPLORE, GROW, and SOAR!
