Hello! My name is Nancy Moran and I am your child's art teacher here at HTS! I have been teaching here at HTS since 2015. My career in art education began back in 1995 teaching art to students in Pre-K through 8th grade. I took some time off to raise my daughters and now, I am thrilled to work in a district that encourages creativity and sees the importance of the arts.

I believe very strongly in the quote by Pablo Picasso, "Every Child is an Artist." Students will be assessed on skills, content and effort they put into each piece they create. Ability is a great thing to have but raw talent alone isn't what art is all about. I want each and every one of my students to enjoy their time spent creating art regardless of their abilities.
