I'm Miss. Dougherty and I am thrilled to be a part of the Pleasant Valley team as your 6th grade teacher!  I graduated as a Pleasant Valley Panther in 2006 I am so thankful to return to PVS once again as a teacher this time.

I love spending time with my family, and they are so important to me.  My family is extremely big, and we all love relaxing at the beach in the summer and watching Eagles games together on Sundays!

I graduated from Widener University in 2016 with a bachelors in Education with a concentration in Science.  I've spent the first few years of my teaching career teaching 4th, 5th and 8th grade in Philadelphia, PA.  I have a passion for helping students learn through application, and hands-on activities will be encouraged often in our classroom.
