About Mrs. Richardson 

     Welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am thrilled to be co-teaching with Mrs. Zuccato for a seventh school year. 4th grade is the BEST! Our class is referred to as Team Ranzo (a mash-up of Mrs. Zuccato’s maiden name, Manzo, and my last name) and we can't wait for you to be a part of our school family. We will learn and do so many exciting things together this school year!  

       I started my teaching career in the Harrison Township School District and am proud to be starting my 22nd year at Pleasant Valley School! I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary and Special Education and a Master of Arts degree in Special Education and Reading from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia. I also hold a Supervisor Certification from Rowan University and earned my Level 1 Wilson Reading certification during the 2018-2019 school year.  I am married to a teacher and have two daughters. We moved to Harrison Township several years ago so that our children could benefit from the wonderful education that is offered in our schools.

If you are feeling nervous about the start of 4th grade, try to relax and know that Mrs. Zuccato and I will do our best each day to make you feel comfortable and excited to learn! We can’t wait to meet you!
