Meet the Teacher Mrs. Avila

Hello all! My name is Mrs. Avila  and I am so excited to be one of your teachers this year! I am so eager to meet each and everyone of you, and get to know you better throughout the school year. We are going to have a fabulous year full of fun, learning and meeting new friends. I hope you all had a wonderful summer and are ready for a great school year ahead! 

I grew up in Mullica Hill and attended  Harrison Township Elementary School as a student. I have the best memories from my time at this amazing school--and I am beyond excited to be teaching the next generation of Explorers! I attended Rowan University for college where I studied to become an elementary and special education teacher. 

Teaching runs in my family and has always been a passion of mine. This is my sixth year teaching in an inclusion first grade classroom as a special education teacher. 

I am looking forward to providing your child with a wonderful first grade experience this year!
