My name is Kristin Reim, and I am so excited to be a part of your child's school year! This will be my 23rd year teaching special education, and my first year here, at Harrison Township Elementary School. I truly believe that every student has unique strengths, abilities, and potential. It is my mission to create a supportive and loving classroom where each child feels values, encouraged, and excited to learn. I look forward to getting to know your child and working together with you to make this an exciting and successful school year.
I attended Mercyhurst University in Erie, PA. I graduated in 2003 with a major in special education and a minor in dance. I started my career at Archway Programs and then spent the last 20 years teaching in Winslow Township. Throughout the years, I have taught preschool disabled, multiply disabled, resource room for ELA, and in the inclusion setting. I have also continued with my love of dance by teaching at Tricia Sloan Dance Center. I love bringing my passion of teaching and dance together.
I live here, in Mullica Hill with my family. My husband of 19 years, Dan, is an engineer, and we have two kids. Logan is a freshman at Clearview High School and is excited to be playing football. My daughter, Madelyn, is going into 7th grade at Clearview Middle School. She loves dance, and is excited for all her upcoming performances this school year.
I am beyond excited to be joining the Harrison Township School District this year. As a parent of two children that have been through the district, I know what a caring and nurting school atmosphere is here. I love that I am now a part of this too and I look forward to an exciting school year.
