Hello Second Graders!
My name is Kathryn Wells. I am proud to say that this is my 24th year teaching at Harrison Township Elementary School after graduating from Rowan University with a Bachelor's Degree in Special Education. I grew up in Washington Township, but currently reside in Harrison Township with my husband, 2 children and 2 adopted pups.
My children have both gone through our wonderful school district. My son, Ryan, is a graduate of Rowan University, and he now works in IT for a company in Philadelphia. My daughter, Marissa, graduated from Cabrini University and she is currently a Special Education teacher for a small private school in Pennsylvania.
Our one pup, Denali, is a 10 year old lab mix who loves to chew up tennis balls and go for long walks. Our other pup, Shelby, is a 5 year old hound mix who loves to chew up cardboard and chase bugs. (And they both really love ice cream!)
When I’m not at school, I enjoy reading, scrapbooking, working on puzzles, and traveling to see new places. Although we enjoy all Philly sports, we are truly Sixers fans and we really enjoy cheering them on! (Hopefully, we have better luck this year!)
I am very excited to work with your child this year and I am looking forward to watching them grow and learn. I am committed to helping them reach their potential and to grow more confident. By working together, we can make this a great year for your child!
