Hello First Grade Superheroes!
My name is Mrs. Illi, and I am so excited to be your teacher this year! Get ready for a first-grade adventure! Together, we'll discover new things, solve problems, and make new friends. Every superhero needs a team, and I can't wait for us to become one!
Before our adventure begins, allow me to share a few things about myself.
One of my superhero powers is reading! I love getting lost in adventure stories and learning about history. Sometimes, when I’m feeling especially brave, I even read stories that are a little spooky (but never too spooky!).
Another one of my superhero powers is caring for animals. My family has two dogs and two cats. Our dogs’ names are Stella and Luna. Our cats’ names are Pluto and Phoebe.
My greatest superpower is loving my family. Mr. Illi and I have been married for 23 years, and we have three children. Abby is 21, Dylan is 18, and Caroline is 16. We love going on adventures together! We have taken a few trips to the Adirondack Mountains in New York, visited family in Connecticut, and been to Disney World. We always have a fantastic time exploring and making memories together!
