Welcome to Music!
Welcome to Music! My name is Mrs. Counsellor and I am very happy to be making music with you at PVS. I graduated from The University of the Arts with a BM in Vocal Performance and MAT in Music Education. I previously taught at the secondary level, and most recently taught k-5 music at Collingswood Public Schools. When not teaching music, I love to spend my time with my five boys- my husband Nathan, our sons Everett and Harrison, and our two pups Buddy and Winston.Â
I am excited to share my love for music with you.
My musical goal for YOU
Through our understanding of music, musical elements, notation and composers, my goal for you is to find YOUR JOY in music. Listen to a new song or artist, find your voice, create a new instrument, or just listen to the sounds all around you. Music is a universal language. Allow music to let you feel, dare you to dream, inspire you to create, motivate you to move, encourage you to love, and always remind you to keep shining!
