Dear Families, I want to extend to you and your child my warmest welcome into my classroom and would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself and tell you a little about me! My name is Stephanie Bottone and I am your child's fourth grade homeroom teacher. I grew up in Voorhees, NJ. I later lived in Marlton, and then Mullica Hill for a short time. I now live in Woolwich Township with my husband, two daughters, son, and dogs. My daughter, Drea Alaina, was born on April 2, 2012. My son, Nico Anthony was born on December 9, 2015, and my daughter, Demi Pauline, was born on September 18, 2020. My two dogs are named Georgie and Maggie.
Some of my favorites are the beach, any shade of green, summer and fall, but I also LOVE snow! I love the holiday season! I love ALL animals. I love taking pictures. I love watching my kids play sports and I'm usually one of the loudest at their games. I love watching my oldest daughter on stage. I love to read! I love morning coffee on the couch with a blanket. I love a good crime doc. My favorite professional sporting event to go to is a Union game. I love snuggling my pups! I love to dance. I love time with my family. I love our country! I graduated from Bloomsburg University with a Bachelor of Arts in Humanities. I then went on to continue my education and receive my Master of Arts in Education at Holy Family University. I am dual certified in both Elementary Education and Special Education. I taught at Bancroft Elementary School for Children with Autism for three years. The 2024-2025 school year will be my 18th year teaching at Pleasant Valley School. I have taught all subjects, but now just focus on ELA.
As an educator, I value my job and the opportunity that I will have to teach your child the requirements he or she will need to complete the school year successfully. Your child's success in my classroom is my number one priority.
I am very proud to be teaching at such an outstanding and highly accomplished public school. I am also very excited to start the new school year with you! Your child's year in fourth grade will be a wonderful time for learning, making new friends, and growing together. I look forward to meeting and working with all of you! Sincerely,
Mrs. Bottone
