Dear Families,
I want to extend to you and your child my warmest welcome into my classroom and would like to take this time to introduce myself, and tell you a little about me!
My name is Jacqueline (Jackie) Sanders, and I will be your child's fourth grade homeroom and ELA teacher. I grew up in West Deptford, New Jersey, and now I live in Woolwich Township with my husband Pat, my son Jameson, my daughter Charlie, and dog, Mitch. I am very excited to begin this teaching journey filled with learning and fun!
I have completed my Bachelors Degree in Elementary Education at Bloomsburg University which is located in Pennsylvania. While pursuing my degree, I was a 4-year scholar-athlete for the Bloomsburg Women's Soccer Team. Throughout my teaching experiences at Bloomsburg, I had diverse opportunities working with children. Later, I earned a Masters Degree in School Counseling at Wilmington University. Through my education and teaching experiences, I have become an enthusiastic and caring educator who believes that all children can learn, and succeed in a learning environment that is challenging, safe, and developmentally appropriate. I am delighted at the opportunity to continue my teaching career at Pleasant Valley School for my nineteenth year!
I am very thankful to be part of such an outstanding school district. As a dedicated and coachable educator, I will strive to guide each student to success. I am looking forward to meeting and working with all of you!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Sanders
